Thousand Night Sky

Thousand night sky
Thousand day sun
Thousand birds fly
And all the wild horses run
Thousand night sky...

Well, this is as close I'm gonna get to being finished recording this song without outside intervention. I have to call it a day on this goddamn thing or else I'll never get anything else done. I started writing/recording this back in April, and it's been quite a journey. I wrote it once, then promptly forgot how to play it, had to re-write it, shelve it, and finally it took on a life of it's own (Then took over mine) So, anyways, I present to you at last "Thousand Night Sky" in it's finished format as a solo work. I have every intention of re-recording this in a more collaborative manner with some of my favorite musician friends, and by the time that takes shape, I'm sure it will sound completely different.
I know it's a bit of a time commitment at 8 minutes and 20 seconds, but if you do give it a listen, thank you, and I hope you like it. It's bombastic, lush, dense, orchestral and totally pretentious, which is exactly what I was going for.
